java-programmer, API 1.5.0 Download Hi all,
I am new to the Mac and am looking for a download of the
jdk 1.5.0 api. I cannot find a tarball or zip file on the
Sun site that I can download so I can use the reference when
I am offline.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Bob

java-programmer >> API 1.5.0 Download http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/

This is the latest URL for the 1.6 version. Why dont you just "save" this
page e.g. in IE by adding it to your preferred sites and enable the option
called: Make available off-line

<http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index_jdk5.jsp>
<http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp>
for the latest.

Both pages have a document download heading, respectively "J2SE 5.0
Documentation" and "Java SE 6 Documentation", with a button to download the
doc zip file. They are also the same pages from which one downloaded the JDK API.

A better idea would be to read the part where the OP said he's new to
the Mac. IE, that nastiest of all browsers, is long defunct on the Mac,
thankfully.
