java-programmer, Should I run JAVA or MS VM with Internet Explorer? I installed Java JRE 1.4.2_02 to support Mozilla Firebird while I try it
out.

This plug-in has enabled itself to run with IE6 too. Should I disable it in
IE6? Or should I disable MS VM? Or should I let both run together?

Thank you.

Hi Jim,

Just use the JVM you just downloaded at Sun.
Disable M$ JVM
Why?

Because it is in Suns's interest to make Java work fine, and I have the
strong impression it is in M$ interest to let Java crash.

By the way, I wasn't aware you could run them both at the same time. Are you
sure about that?

I have run IE with both enabled and with either enabled, and cannot see any
difference. I do not know how it works.
