java-programmer, Something Fun Here's something fun that you may find interesting. I don't really have
enough know-how to do anything with it yet, but some of you might.

One of the releases is in Java. Here's a video of it finished.

If anyone does anything with this, let me know!

Did you check out this?

"Mr Ludlow thought the people behind the game should know what
was going on inside Alphaville, not least because some things -
child prostitution, for example - are morally and legally troubling.
"

*VERY* Scary how fast the 'government' shut down the dissident!
Wait till the gated communities of the future secede!

We've all read about the data havens of the future;
how far fetched is a world where the hyper rich* live
in data havens bidding for "gratification" to be "brought" to them.
Only the "importers" can be touched by law, and we all know that
only 10% are caught.

*we all know the world is headed to the norms and the hyper rich.
It is a simple hyposthesis - the rich get richer than the poorer
by manipulating the ability to gain wealth.

I think the main benefit of newsgroups is the opportunity
to be told when you are wrong, by people who are qualified
to do so.

This saves one from continuing to believe things that are
not true, and - worse still - telling them to others, thus
confusing them and making a fool of oneself.

It's a lot easier to change your mind if you are corrected
soon after forming an opinion. After a while, it tends to
set like concrete.

Consequently, people who refuse to accept that they might
be wrong - and often descend to personalities - are
rejecting the very benefit that is within their grasp.

Have you considered that you might be wrong about this?
